Unboxing [UK]: Tekkonkinkreet - Film (Blu-ray)

As part of my birthday gifts, I also asked for Tekkonkinkreet!

Note that this post has been updated (4th June 2015) to reflect the new blog format and add additional notes to the release.

Tekkonkinkreet is an anime adapted from the manga of the same name (made back in the 1990s by Taiyou Matsumoto). What's interesting about this adaptation is that it's one of the few (if not first) to be directed by an non-Japanese person, as Tekkonkinkreet was handled by Michael Arias (his next film to direct will be an upcoming anime adaptation for Harmony). Tekkonkinkreet caught my eye by its strange/unique art style and story and it's a pretty good film.

This Blu-ray package is like every other film on the market, surprisingly enough as most movies in the UK tend to be region free on Blu-ray this film is also one of them. This means that anyone in America, Japan and countries in Region C can also grab a copy of this film from the UK.

In terms of subtitles there's English, English SDH, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Arabic, Bulgarian, Croatian, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Slovenian, Swedish and Turkish.
