Grav's Thoughts

Some interesting turnouts for this slate. For starters the Girls und Panzer OVA is not only being released standalone (when many thought it would be bundled with the film) but it's actually a combo pack. It works I guess, but I hope Sentai do try and get more OVA standalone sets out there since there are quite a ton of titles that didn't get their OVAs included with their sets (it's usually down to timing, reverse importation or it was exclusive to the Japanese manga volumes).

DanMachi gets the collector's treatment as I had predicted, but the outcome I'm honestly conflicted with. Don't get me wrong it's a great design overall, but I was hoping it would have a box like the other sets Sentai had put out in the CE format. Overall the price is reasonable and the contents look cool. It's a shame they couldn't get the OVAs in the end, perhaps one day they could receive a standalone collection.

Another surprise is a new ADV release, well technically it's a re-release. Mezzo was spotted on digital streaming not long ago but the show is now going to be back in print. This is the TV version and not the Hentai Movie.

In total we have a Spring 2015 title (DanMachi), a Autumn 2015 title (Diabolik Lovers II) and a Winter 2016 title (Phantasy Star Online 2).

Aside from the rescue titles, here is what's left now for Sentai to release (aside from very recent seasons):

Autumn 2014:
Tribe Cool Crew - 50 episodes

Spring 2015:
Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma [Dub Confirmed] - 24 episodes + 2 OVAs

Summer 2015:
Gate [Dub Confirmed + Seasons 1 & 2 Collection Confirmed] - 12 episodes
Himouto! Umaru-chan [Dub Confirmed] - 12 episodes + 1 OVA
Monster Musume: Everyday Life With Monster Girls [Dub Confirmed] - 12 episodes + 1 OVA
School-Live! - 12 episodes
Ushio & Tora [Dub Confirmed] - 24 episodes

Autumn 2015:
Chivalry of a Failed Knight - 12 episodes
Haikyu!! Second Season - 25 episodes
Is the Order a Rabbit?? - 12 episodes
Utawarerumono: The False Faces [Dub Very Likely] - 25 episodes

Winter 2016:
Gate: Fire Dragon Arc [*see above about Gate*] - 12 episodes
Girls Beyond the Wasteland - 12 episodes + 1 OVA
Norn9: Norn+Nonet - 12 episodes
Nurse Witch KOMUGI R - 12 episodes
Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle - 12 episodes

That's all for this line-up. Don't forget Sentai have My Love Story!! Collector's Edition next month plus many potential outcomes like a rescue release or a Sentai Selects title.
