Unboxing [UK]: Tokyo Marble Chocolate - Collector's Edition (BD/DVD)

Arriving earlier than its expected release date, here is a special OVA/film from the director of Psycho Pass released for the first time in English territories.


Tokyo Marble Chocolate is a 2007 two episode OVA from studio Production I.G and director Naoyoshi Shiotani (Blood-C: The Last Dark, Psycho Pass). This title is not well known among the anime community and it was only until Anime Limited acquired the license that it sparked some more attention.

This release from Anime Limited is the collector's edition Blu-ray and DVD combo with really nice art overlapping the entire box. The box itself also contains a digipack to house the discs and a 40 page booklet. The subtitles are unlockable, and the colours are Yellow for main dialogue and on-screen stuff. The discs are locked to Region B and 2 only and it only contains Japanese audio with English subtitles.

Plot Synopsis (via All the Anime):
"Yuudai has difficulty expressing his feelings and his girlfriend, Chizuru, has trouble maintaining relationships. Trapped by their insecurities in a relationship thats going nowhere, they drift further and further apart. While Chizuru thinks this is the end of the road, Yuudai struggles desperately to overcome his cowardly nature before he loses what is most important to him.

There are two stories to every relationship, but can love survive if they don't meet halfway?"
