Surprise, we have another Limited Edition release to unbox!

Tenchi Muyo! Movie Collection is a collection of the films released early on in the franchise. The three films are; Tenchi Muyo! In Love, Tenchi Muyo! The Daughter of Darkness (Tenchi Muyou! Manatsu no Eve), and Tenchi Muyo! In Love 2 (Tenchi Muyou! in Love 2: Haruka Naru Omoi), released in 1996, 1997 and 1999 respectively. All three films were animated by studio AIC and published by NBC Universal Entertainment Japan (also known as Geneon Universal or Geneon Entertainment back in the day).
The films were initially released by Pioneer Entertainment (later known as Geneon) with an English dub before the rights being rescued by Funimation. All three films were given a remaster on Blu-ray without any sort of upscale so it looks pretty good in high definition. Note that the timeline for Tenchi is a bit of a mess - the Ryo-Ohki OVA Collection and the Films are separate canon. In other words the In Love 1 & 2 films are set after the events of Tenchi Universe. The Daughter of Darkness film is its own canon with no connection to the other titles.
This release from Funimation is the limited edition version, which at the time was the only one around (and still is, oddly enough). The limited edition includes a box to house the DVD cases as well as a mini booklet. All three films series are available in English & Japanese audio with English subtitles. The subtitles are unlockable and the regions are locked to A & 1 NTSC only. Tenchi Muyo! In Love and The Daughter of Darkness are located on the first disc, while Tenchi Muyo! In Love 2 is on the second disc.

When Tenchi vanishes into thin air, Ayeka and Ryoko track their man to a parallel version of Tokyo! The luckless lad has taken up with a mysterious beauty named Haruna, and he doesn’t even recognize his lady friends from back home. Can Ayeka and Ryoko figure out what Haruna is up to in time to save dear sweet Tenchi!?
The Daughter of Darkness
Tenchi gets the shock of a lifetime when a pretty young girl wanders out of nowhere and starts calling him “Daddy!” Ryoko and Ayeka are beyond jealous, and everyone wants to know who the mother could be. Little do they know, Yuzuha, the Demoness of Darkness, is on a mission of vengeance that could mean big trouble for Papa Tenchi!
