Luck was around when myself and others have discovered a loop hole over at Amazon. It in which many anime titles were released at very low prices. Unfortunately it was fixed and some orders were cancelled but other titles did get dispatched and as such, two of my orders got through. The other item that I had ordered arrived today.

Elfen Lied is available on Blu-ray and DVD from Section23 Films in North America. 101 Films have released the series on DVD and as a Blu-ray Steeltin Collector's Edition in United Kingdom.
Elfen Lied is one of the most popular anime titles out there and it's just over a decade old now. The series had spawned quite an attention due to the infamous first episode and random death scenes but it's story and music do help the series a lot. The manga (original source material) was still on-going at the time so the anime's end was original but I liked it and so did a lot of other people.
The Blu-ray set is from ADV. You may be wondering about this, well it may come to a surprise but ADV isn't dead, they pretty much got merged into Section23 Films. Section23 Films also has Aesir Holdings, Sentai Filmworks and Maiden Japan. The Blu-ray includes all 12 episodes and the OVA which was never released before. Despite the cover stating Region A only, the discs are actually Region A and B compatible so UK players can also play the series. The subtitles are unlockable and the English audio quality has some problems due to DTS Master Audio 5.1.
