While it's usually London that gets the main announcements, this weekend saw Anime Limited unveiling a whole bunch of new information, not only for Scotland Loves Anime 2015 but also new licenses!
The other UK distributors were not there for the panels so there's nothing new coming from them yet (Jerome has news to show at MCM London this October).
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin II - Artesia's Sorrow gets World Premiere screening at MCM London this October
In case you didn't know Anime Limited is the official distributor for Gundam titles in the UK & Ireland, which is great because it's about time that new and current anime fans can get the chance to watch these shows, I myself am looking forward to owning all of them. The company have been releasing the Imported versions of The Origin and this weekend they've announced a world premiere of Artesia's Sorrow, the second episode in the OVA series.
The episode will be screened on Saturday 24th October, located at The Crystal, "just a stones throw away from Excel London" according to Anime Limited. The screening is part of MCM Loves Anime which requires a ticket of its own (and not the Comic Con Tickets). The first episode will also be screened in addition to special guests - representives of Sunrise will be attending the screening of Artesia's Sorrow with some panel news coming right after that may even offer some surprises from Anime Limited themselves (could it be plans for the next Gundam release? or even a simulcast of the new Gundam!).

New license announcement: The Rolling Girls
The first announcement from the weekend went to the acquisition of The Rolling Girls, the Winter 2015 title from WIT Studio (Attack on Titan, Seraph of the End). The distributor pretty much timed this announcement this weekend as members of WIT Studio attended MCM Comic Con Scotland to talk about the very same show. The license was already picked up in the states by Funimation and it did briefly become available on Viewster for the UK & Ireland but has recently been delisted. With the license the distributor plans to release the series on Blu-ray and DVD sometime in 2016 and much like their other titles we could expect them to add the title back onto Viewster in the near future.
New license announcement: Assassination Classroom
Assassination Classroom became one of the biggest surprises this year and while we (UK & Ireland) missed out on the show for legal simulcast, Anime Limited's second license announcement turned out to be the first season of Assassination Classroom! The series will be coming to Blu-ray and DVD in 2016 in both English and Japanese audio. I expect they'll get the show up on Viewster as soon as possible. It's unknown if they also have Season 2 like Funimation does but I wouldn't be surprised.
New license announcement: K: Missing Kings and K: Return of Kings
The final announcement from the panel was the acquisition of K; Missing Kings and K: Return of Kings. The interesting thing about this is that I was expecting Kaze (aka Viz Media Europe) to distribute this for the UK because they handled the first season (which was done poorly may I add). But the fact that Anime Limited picked the later series up is a good thing because the fans will get the product they want in a better fashion. The second season (Return of Kings) will be available for simulcast on Viewster. The film will be coming to Blu-ray and DVD very soon, most likely in Q1.
