Unboxing [UK]: Blood Lad - Complete Series: Collector's Edition (Blu-ray)

This set has been around since February 2015 but after many discounted prices I have finally decided to acquire it over the Viz Media release.

Blood Lad is a 2013 anime series based on a manga of the same name written & drawn by Yuuki Kodama. The anime was adapted by studio Brain Base of Durarara!! fame and published by Kadokawa Pictures.

Blood Lad is one of Anime Limited's first titles from their catalogue, tagged along with Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya Season 1 under the Kadokawa Pictures packaging deal. The show indeed received the collector's treatment and it does a good job in contrast to the Viz Media limited edition release (in fact the booklet is identical I believe).

The Anime Limited Collector's Edition set includes all 10 episodes plus its OVA episode across 2 Blu-ray discs. The audio options include both the English dub and the original Japanese with English subtitles. Subtitles are unlockable and the regions are B locked. All of the on-disc extras from the Viz Media release are included with this set. The Collector's Edition set features the original Anime Limited layout of cover design (no clean artwork, all info on box) with a digipack to house the discs and a 96-page booklet of artwork & a manga piece.
