Discotek went all-out during the Momocon convention with some very exciting license announcements.
This post will also cover the announcements with release dates set for July 2018.
As mentioned in the previous release slate posts, Discotek will be changing their model slightly by releasing older long-running shows only available in standard definition on Blu-ray from here on, thanks to feedback on their social media. That means if an anime ran for 2-cours or more then it's on SD on BD rather than DVD.

New license announcement.
And here are the brand new announcements joining Discotek's catalogue, these were announced during Momocon. Some of them are included in the July slate so we'll omit those (Babel II Blu-ray, Cardcaptor Sakura Movie 2, The Law of Ueki, Mazinger Edition Z Blu-ray).
All-Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku
This license announcement covers all three series (first OVA series from 1992-1993, the TV series from 1998, and the second OVA series from 1998) in a single release via SD on Blu-ray; that's 32 episodes in total. Includes the original English dub, the rare restored UK English dub, and of course the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. ADV Films originally licensed the anime.
Angel Cop
The cult classic OVA series returns with the 'ridiculous foul-mouthed English dub' and also the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. Includes uncensored subtitles for the first time plus a new essay on historical context, text interview with dub writer and vintage VHS trailers from UK & US. This has been restored from the best materials available. The subtitles will also have two versions; the uncensored subtitles as mentioned as well as the original from the previous Manga Entertainment release. Manga Entertainment originally licensed the anime.
Devilman OVAs
The original Devilman OVAs are coming to Blu-ray with the 'ridiculous foul-mouthed English dub' and also the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. There will also be a newly-translated 28 minute audio drama in Japanese audio included. The OVAs are called Devilman: The Birth and Devilman: The Demon Bird. Manga Entertainment originally licensed the anime.
Lupin the Third: The Legend of the Gold of Babylon
An existing license announcement that has been with Discotek for many years. This time they have announced plans to offer an English dub from the same team behind Lupin the Third Part IV with Richard Epcar directing the dub. AnimEigo originally licensed the anime.
