Love Live! returns to the UK with Aqours taking over the scene! While Funimation went with the standard only route, Anime Limited are offering a 500 unit collector's edition set.
Love Live! Sunshine!! is a 2016 anime series from studio Sunrise and publisher Bandai Visual. The show is part of the same universe as Love Live! School Idol Project. Funimation acquired the license this time around instead of NIS America who handled the School Idol Project series.
Like School Idol Project, Sunshine covers a new idol group called Aqours featuring the following cast of characters; Chika Takami, Riko Sakurauchi, Kanan Matsuura, Dia Kurosawa, You Watanabe, Yoshiko Tsushima, Hanamaru Kunikida, Mari Ohara, and Ruby Kurosawa. Each character shares the spotlight throughout the series' two seasons.
This release from Anime Limited covers the first season of the Aqours group. The Collector's Edition set is available for 500 units only which is a strange number, but it seems the franchise doesn't sell well for the UK as many would have expected given the fanbase. The release includes all 13 episodes in both English & Japanese audio with English subtitles across 2 Blu-ray discs. The discs are region locked to B and the subtitles are locked during playback.
On another note, the booklet does cover the cast but only 6 of the 9 (it's missing Kanan, Mari and Dia - this isn't joke). Those three may appear in the second season's UK release.

Uranohoshi Girls' High School, a private school in the seaside neighbourhood of Uchiura at Numazu city, Shizuoka prefecture.
