Today we have another Japanese import, this time for the PlayStation Vita. It's been a while since I acquired an import copy for this device and considering it's going to be discontinued in 2019 I wanted to make sure I got all of the games that I wanted before it was too late.
Bullet Girls (バレットガールズ) is a third person shooter developed by Shade and published by D3 Publisher. D3 Publisher many will know for the Earth Defence Force and OneChanbara games as well as the infamous Omega Labyrinth series. For the most part their games are pretty much low budget but they have some form of entertainment value at least.
Bullet Girls is a PlayStation Vita exclusive that was released in Japan back in August 2014 and managed to become successful enough to warrant two sequels; Bullet Girls 2 and Bullet Girls Phantasia, the latter of which was made available in English for the Asian (Region 3) territories on PlayStation 4 and Vita.
The game as you may probably notice is import friendly as you essentially play the levels just like a normal third person shooter. There are language barriers in terms of dialogue which is normal for pretty much every import out there. Also worth noting is that this franchise does have some risque scenes in a similar fashion to the Criminal Girls 'punishment' mechanic and Senran Kagura 'dressing room' which if you know about those two then you already have a general idea on what to expect here.

The game is compatible with PlayStation Vita TV and also features trophies that can be acquired offline for those interested. Overall the game is available to own on Solaris Japan in both new & pre-owned conditions for the original release (which I have) and the PlayStation Vita the Best! edition.
