First of all, I apologise for the lateness of this post. I completely forgot about it and I think I was too distracted by my 'Platinum Progress' that I've been doing for some of my PS3 games. Nevertheless more information was shown off for some titles so let's get right into it. This line-up includes one title re-released for the Sentai Selects line, one title re-released as a complete set, one title re-released from Aesir Holdings, one title coming to Blu-ray after a hold-back and dozens of new additions coming to Blu-ray and DVD. Interesting.
Here's the list of anime that Section23 Films have scheduled for the month of April 2016.
Like the previous Sentai update I won't be putting my thoughts on each title until the bottom of the post. Sentai put out so many shows that chances of myself watching them are close to zero.
Note that on the Region specs - US means the set is Geolocked to United States.

Another interesting month from Section23 Films.
Starting off with Parasyte -the maxim-, this title was bound to be given the collector's edition treatment - the series is really good and gained a huge amount of popularity when it became available on Crunchyroll and by surprise with many fans also aired with an English dub on Toonami (like Akame ga Kill). Parasyte, among a lot of Madhouse titles, was in some sort of license hell as many of the titles produced by Madhouse and handled by NTV rarely get licensed by a US distributor and it wasn't until Funimation picked up Death Parade that we finally saw this 'curse' end. Sentai also picked up My Love Story which didn't suffer from any late acquisitions so that was good news. As for the collector's edition, once again I do feel disappointed. Like Akame ga Kill there really isn't enough content to make it worth the value for the collector's treatment, though I am aware that the Migi figurine is a special collectible piece that a lot of Japanese fans love, I'm unfortunately going to just stick with the standard edition.
Princess Tutu gets a re-release which I completely forgot was actually licensed by Aesir Holdings in the first place, but it's been confirmed that the re-release will have the standard packaging and not the stack-pak so that's good news for many fans (stack-paks are basically placing all of the discs on top of each other, which can cause damage to the discs).
Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere is also getting re-released as a complete set, Manga UK already did this years ago but this time it's getting re-authored as a 3 disc set. Now I really want to get this show but one of the seasons suffered from a video error that is not present in the Japanese version (which has English subtitles in case you didn't know that already). I hope that Sentai is aware of this issue and fixes it alongside any other potential errors present.
Rail Wars gets a Blu-ray release! Though I'm hearing rumours that the video quality is censored which worries me that TBS might be screwing Sentai over like Kadokawa is doing with Funimation and Toei with Viz Media. And also Space Brothers reaches it end with the final collection set that covers the remaining episodes. I'm baffled that the Blu-rays are rather inconsistent, literally half of the sets are simply 1 disc releases while the other half are 2 discs. I hope the quality isn't ruined in this case.
That's it for the month of April, I'm sorry for the lateness of this post but I won't make that mistake again for the next update.
