Industry News: Sentai Filmworks August 2018 Release Slate

Sentai brings us their very first limited edition release of a film, plus we also have another limited edition set for a series.

As a brief reminder, there will be no DVD versions for any brand new releases and re-releases. To ensure consistency select titles that have sequel contents (whether it's a second series or a second film) will keep the DVD option for now.

Grav's Thoughts on the Release Slate:

So for the month of August we have a couple titles.

Catalogue:
Aura Battler Dunbine

Spring 2017:
Armed Girl's Machiavellism

Summer 2017:
No Game, No Life Zero

Well we have a rather quiet month this time around. Two limited edition sets, both reasonably priced which is a plus and we have the classic Sunrise show Aura Battler Dunbine coming to Blu-ray with all of the episodes dubbed & subbed for $99.98 which is also neat.

I enjoyed No Game, No Life so I'll be getting the No Game, No Life Zero film probably as soon as I can, especially as I have Sentai's limited edition set to go alongside it. I haven't watched Armed Girl's Machiavellism but I'm surprised it's streamed well enough to get a dub and a limited edition release to be honest. Perhaps I should check it out someday...

Oh, and more Garo is pretty neat.
