Industry News: Crunchyroll x Funimation November 2018 Release Slate

Funimation once again revealed their release slate early through a convention (Otakon in this case), but on the positive side of things at least we have some more Sunrise catalogue titles finally getting released as well as the popular Cowboy Bebop movie making an appearance.

The November 2018 release slate features the following:

 - 7 new Crunchyroll licensed titles including on-going part releases

 - 6 new Funimation licensed titles including on-going part releases

 - 4 Crunchyroll re-released titles: 4 Essentials

 - 6 Funimation re-released titles: 1 Classics, 4 Essentials, 1 collection release

Due to the constant confusion over what regions the shows are exactly, I've added a 'Regions (not final)' note for the select Crunchyroll titles. The others I can expect to be completely region locked otherwise.

As mentioned they revealed their newest additions over at Otakon so there's no real surprise. So far they haven't revealed any limited edition sets, so that sucks for those who were wanting consistency with Blood Blockade Battlefront.

Most of the new titles are from the Autumn 2017 season, with one from the Winter 2018 season and two that were catalogue rescues from the Sunrise package deal (both were previously licensed by Bandai Entertainment). Funimation confirmed way back that they had no intention of dubbing the license rescues so there's no dub for Tales of the Abyss.

We have a lot of Essentials released as well. Joker Game still lists Region B when the previous release was tested as region locked so who knows on that one.
