Unboxing [US]: Gunbuster vs Diebuster: Aim for the Top! GATTAI!! - Limited Edition (Blu-ray)

A slight delay but here is my unboxing of a very rare Japanese Blu-ray Disc Box with translated treatment from Honneamise!

Gunbuster vs Diebuster: Aim for the Top! GATTAI!! is a movie collection from studio GAINAX that compiles the two OVA series; Gunbuster and Diebuster into two compilation films with some added new footage. The series was created by GAINAX and includes the director of Evangelion (Gunbuster) and FLCL (Diebuster). Gunbuster is the first series/film and Diebuster (also known as Gunbuster: The Movie 2) is the second series/film.

Despite receiving an English (and French in some bits) translation for US Distribution, this is technically my first Japanese Blu-ray Disc Box (also known as BD-Box). 

This version I am presenting is a Limited Edition which includes both movies and tons of extra content including a translated booklet. Note that Beez Entertainment (now defunct) had sub-licensed this set and Honneamise was able to get the BBFC logos on the discs for them.

Plot Synopsis (via Back cover):

This double feature comprises of Gunbuster and Die Buster (aka Gunbuster 2) condensed them into a single theatrical release told in two parts with a musical intermission in between. The first part, Gunbuster the Movie, condenses the six episodes of the original OVA into a 95-minute movie featuring a new 5.1 audio remix and a redub by the original Japanese cast. The second part, Die Buster the Movie, mixes large chunks of the second OVA series with a few altered or newly-animated scenes to create a truncated take on Nono's story.
