Alongside Blood Lad I also acquired the film Psychic School Wars from Zavvi for a discounted price, but this set didn't actually turn up in stock until recently so now was the time I went for it.
Psychic School Wars (Nerawareta Gakuen) is a 2012 anime movie based on an 1973 science fiction novel written by Taku Mayumura. The anime was adapted by studio Sunrise and published by Shochiku.
This movie got released in the UK first before Funimation acquired the US/Canada rights thanks to Anime Limited. Anime Limited even commissioned an English dub with NYAV Post for the film which was uncommon but the distributor has continued to team up with the dubbing studio for other projects including Mai Mai Miracle, A Silent Voice, and Your Name.
The Anime Limited Collector's Edition set features the film on both Blu-ray and DVD discs. The audio options include both the English dub and the original Japanese with English subtitles. Subtitles are locked and the disc regions are B/2 NTSC only. The Collector's Edition set was one of the first Anime Limited sets to feature clean artwork on the box (with a slipcover to cover the logos/info etc.), but alongside that it also includes a digipack for the discs and a 40-page booklet which features an epilogue to the film. As Anime Limited also had French rights, the contents also support France's language including the booklet.

Plot Synopsis (via Anime Limited):
Spring marks the start of another new school year at a junior high school in Kamakura. A new transfer student, Ryoichi Kyogoku joins the 8th grade. Kyogoku has a very special proficiency in telepathy and has been ordered by his father to use this ability to scan other people’s minds and take over the school.
He instantly gains popularity at school from his good looks and charisma and he sets about taking control of the school. As people begin to fall under Kyogoku’s spell, he covertly manipulates his followers and pushes aside anyone who gets in his way.
With the school almost completely under the control of Kyogoku, only one boy seems unaffected – Seki. Does Seki have what it takes to save everyone from the clutches of mind control?
