After the amount of trailers based on this show and the fanbase claiming it's really good and then really bad, it's time to unbox the Limited Edition release of Guilty Crown from Funimation.

Guilty Crown is directed from the same director of Death Note and Highschool of the Dead anime. Since I have yet to watch the series I can't explain much about the story but apparently it falls flat in the second half but then again the soundtrack (done by Supercell) which sounds really good from the trailer is actually one major positive point for the show in its entirety. This Limited Edition set also includes two booklets full of artwork (they contain spoilers so I won't show them in this post).
This Funimation release contains the first half of the series with episodes 1-11 across 2 Blu-ray and 2 DVD discs. Given this is a Funi release the extra content is self-explanatory with the usual Funi extras but there are extras that stand out like the 4-Panel Theater shorts. The series is only compatible with Region A and Region 1 players.

Plot Synopsis (via Funimation):
Shu's entire world was shattered after a meteorite crashed into Japan, unleashing the lethal Apocalypse Virus.
