More anime arrived and one of them is part of the popular Blood franchise. Here's a look at what Blood-C's limited edition set has to offer.
The Blood franchise has had many anime productions and even though it all started with Blood: The Last Vampire, the others after it are actually un-related. With the exception of the main character, the rest is entirely brand new. Blood-C is also pretty gory so if you're not a fan of blood then this show may put you off. What makes Blood-C even more interesting is that CLAMP was also part of the production.
Just to point something out, my set got some slight damage due to the delivery. That's what happens when you use Amazon Marketplace.
The show was released in standard and limited versions, the one I picked up is the Limited Edition. This set contains the complete series on Blu-ray and DVD with some standard extras like opening/closing animations and Funimation commentaries. The Blu-ray and DVD both have locked subtitles and are also region locked to A and 1.

Plot Synopsis (via Back cover):
The creators of Blood – the Last Vampire and Blood+ team up with renowned powerhouse CLAMP to inject beauty into a chilling new addition to the Blood line.
Horrifying beasts with a hunger for human flesh prey on the citizens of a quiet town. In moonlit twilight, Saya slays the monsters and returns home drenched in blood. As the attacks increase in frequency and intensity, her enemies relay cryptic messages about a broken contract. Limbs are torn from flesh and skulls are crushed and devoured while the huntress struggles with paralyzing visions and gaping holes in her memory. When the humans Saya promised to protect reveal the sickening truth about her role in the violence, she learns her mission isn’t as clear cut as she thought - and her most sadistic foe of all is so close she can taste it.
