It's been a while since I picked up an Aniplex of America set. But now I decided to go ahead and pickup the Monogatari Second Season sets one by one, starting with the first arc featuring Tsubasa Hanekawa.
Here's a look at what the set has to offer.
Nekomonogatari White is the first arc of five in the Monogatari Second Season series (technically six if you include Hanamonogatari). The story is now set after the events of Nisemonogatari and each arc follows the individual female heroines who had apparitions of sorts from Bakemonogatari. For instance, Nekomonogatari White covers the Tsubasa Tiger arc featuring Tsubasa Hanekawa as the main lead instead of Koyomi Araragi.
Each Monogatari Second Season arc is split up for the US releases and Nekomonogatari White is one of them. The set contains a cardboard box with art from the Japanese volumes as well as a mini booklet, artcards and the Blu-ray case with 2 discs. The box itself is very slim and flimsy but they at least fixed this with the newer Aniplex sets. The Aniplex sets are region free and this is no exception, plus the subtitles are unlockable. The Monogatari series is only available in Japanese with English subtitles (because the meaning will be lost in English dub form and the subtitles are all over the place).
Alongside the main five episodes of the arc, the first Omnibus recap episode is included.

Plot Synopsis (via Aniplex):
At the end of summer vacation, upon the morning of the opening ceremony for the second semester, Tsubasa Hanekawa encounters an enormous tiger on the way to school.
"White. So white... So purely, blandly white..."
Proclaiming Tsubasa as such, the white tiger strides past her and vanishes. Later, Tsubasa's house is destroyed in a fire. But this is just the beginning of a series of unfortunate incidents for her and the people around her. Koyomi Araragi decides to save her with help from the former "Kiss-Shot," a legendary vampire.

Nekomonogatari White is only available as a Blu-ray Limited Edition set from Aniplex of America for SRP $74.98. It's also available on Blu-ray and DVD elsewhere in UK & Australia.
