I SAY CCCCRRRRRRRYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Aldnoah.Zero is a sci-fi original anime series from A-1 Pictures with some support from writer Gen Urobuchi (who handled the first three episodes). The series has some good music and a cool idea, but the execution at the end of Season 1 and most of Season 2 is what I like to call, a 'trainwreck'.
Aniplex of America have the license in North America and released the series across four volumes with half a cour episodes each for a steep price with little physical content. The UK release was handled by Anime Limited with the discs authored by Hanabee from Australia. The video quality may not be as strong but the audio and price is more reasonable. In case folks didn't know the English dub in the US release is lossy Dolby Digital 2.0, and the UK/AU sets are not. Due to the unexpected four disc count Anime Limited had to use a stacked digipack for their release otherwise it would have been delayed even further.
The Collector's Edition comes with a digipack housing the first season (episodes 1-12) across four Blu-ray discs. The cover art is also pretty cool also. The region is B only and the subtitles are unlockable.
