I went to MCM Birmingham once again and have come back with a couple more titles. I have decided to venture into the Funimation UK catalogue and bought a few of the titles available.
No-Rin is a 2014 anime adaptation of the novel of the same name from studio Silver Link and published by Showgate (now known as Hakuhodo DY MAP). This is a show I've been meaning to check out despite the mixed reception, but hey it was £20 so it was good enough for a blind purchase.
This is a Funimation title for the UK so it's tweaked slightly compared to the North American version. For starters the UK set doesn't come with a slipcover and the BBFC is on the cover art. The inside contents does offer inside art. Due to Showgate (now MAP whatever) refusing to offer NTSC discs for the European zone, Anime Limited (who are distributing Funimation's titles for the UK) have decided to ditch the DVD and make this set Blu-ray only, which is good because the price dropped a lot. The 12 episode series comes with both an English dub and original Japanese audio with English subtitles. The regions for this set are B only (the US version is also A|1), and the subtitles are locked.

Plot Synopsis (via Funimation):
There once was a teen named Kosaku. Who was... mildly obsessed with an idol. He mailed her some veggies - to keep her bod healthy - and, SURPRISE, she showed up at agriculture school!
Now that Ringo (the pop artist formerly known as Yuka) is a student at Tamo Agricultural High School, she’s ready to ho, sow, and plow her way to the top! But first she has to learn... pretty much everything about farming. On top of that, Kosaku’s best friend, Minori, is waaaaaay jelly of his friendship with Ringo on account of her not-so-hidden feelings for him, and seeds of rivalry begin to sprout between the two. And the biggest mystery still remains: What’s a world famous pop star doing at an agricultural high school?
