Among the additional Anime Limited titles from MCM Comic Con London were also two catalogue titles from well over a half-decade ago by Funimation. Here's an overview of the second of two imports I bought from the convention.
Kanon is an anime based on the eroge visual novel created by Key and this is actually the second adaptation of the source material (oh the deja vu, yes both Air and Kanon had multiple adaptations from the same two animation studios Toei and Kyoto Animation). Unlike Air however, Funimation only gained the rights to the Kyoto Animation version. Like I said with Air, I've only seen Clannad so I'm excited to see how the original adaptations were handled in contrast (while one day waiting for the visual novel to receive a retail release in English). The show has been released on Blu-ray in Japan with English subtitles as far as I'm aware (if so the re-releases probably don't have them) though the English territories won't release it on Blu-ray due to licensing.
This adaptation is also known by the anime community as Kanon 2006.
This version released by Funimation is the S.A.V.E. edition with the sticker. The sticker versions basically keep the copies that were used in a previous release and slap the sticker on the wrapping. It's pretty rare now since many titles now use the ugly spine though some dodged it like Shakugan no Shana Season 1 which had the spine on a slipcover. The release contains the entire 24 episode series as well as the Air in Summer specials. Since it's DVD, the discs are Region 1 only and have unlockable subtitles.

Plot Synopsis (via Funimation):
Can the future exist without a past?
Yuichi hasn’t seen his cousin Nayuki in years. Now that he’s back, all knowledge of ever visiting has vanished. He tries to adjust to the vaguely familiar surroundings, but the gaps in his memory haunt him as time grows short. The pieces of the puzzle have appeared – an eerily silent beauty with blazing tresses, the mysterious girl with the winged backpack, and the sword-wielding demon slayer – but it’s up to Yuichi to discover how they fit together.
