Industry News: Sentai Filmworks January 2019 Release Slate

Sentai Filmworks have already begun to reveal their plans for the year of 2019. That also means they will no longer be releasing titles on DVD (hence the introduction of SD Blu-ray releases).


Never the less, here's their release slate for the month of January 2019 featuring the following:
 - 2 new dubbed releases
 - 3 Standard Definition on Blu-ray releases
 - 2 Blu-ray only releases

So for the month of January we have a couple titles.

We have one limited edition release this month in the form of Girls' Last Tour which received a lot of attention during its simulcast so it warranted one I would say. We also have a steelbook release for Land of the Lustrous which will certainly disappoint people considering it was one of the biggest shows of that year.

More titles join the SD Blu-ray format with HATARAKI-MAN, Human Crossing and Rocket Girls between both Sentai Filmworks and Maiden Japan. Not much to say, but it's great to see more older anime receive a release.
