Random Topic: Funimation Now UK Rant

This has been a post that I've been meaning to make for quite some time now. And today I am literally pissed off to the point where I really want to try and get the word out because this is ridiculous. This is more of a rant but I'll try and get my points across.

It's time to talk about Funimation's BETA UK streaming service, once again.

Random Topic: Round-Up of Spring 2016's Legal Anime UK Streaming List

This is probably the first season where the UK & Ireland nearly got every single anime simulcast without any silly region restrictions. Granted we did lose out on two major shows but overall this was a strong season plus we are even introduced to Funimation's new UK service which is a bonus.

Here's a list of all of the titles made available for UK & Ireland legal streaming from March to June 2016.

Industry News: Aniplex of America A-Kon 2016 Announcements

Just when I thought there wouldn't be any more news from Aniplex for a while, they ended up unveiling two more titles getting English releases from A-Kon 2016.

Here's the small list of titles Aniplex are planning on releasing over the course of the late-Summer/Autumn 2016 season.

Unboxing: Clannad - Kickstarter Exclusive Limited Edition (Visual Novel)

Back in 2014 a company called Sekai Project acquired the rights to release the popular visual novel Clannad to English fans. Later that year they put the game on Kickstarter to allow fans to help bring it over to the west. It was successful and I pledged a good amount for the physical copy (which upgraded to a special set) as well as the Clannad: Hikari Mimamoru Sakamichi de side stories and the Anthology Comic. The game was released on Steam in November 2015.

However folks (like myself) who backed the kickstarter but lived outside of United States and Canada received a 4 month delay due to shipping and customs, after its release in February 2016. And now it's finally here, alongside the extras I pledged which also helps.

This game is and has always been rated All-Ages so it's a suitable visual novel for everyone.
